Mount Merapi increasingly threatening

Mount Merapi disaster claimed more lives and displaced thousands of people now, from day to day the higher the intensity of the eruption of Merapi thus forcing the authorities to extend the safe distance to anticipate the massive eruption might occur.


Safe distance this time according to the authorities is at a radius of 20 kilometers from Mount Merapi. There are dozens of new bodies which has been in hospital in Yogyakarta result from exposure to hot clouds of Mount Merapi.
